Twitch Rivals

Det officielle launch af Valorant bliver skudt igang med en stor global turnering kaldet Twitch Rivals, og kommer til at løbe fra den 3.-8. juni.

Den samlede prize pool kommer til at være på $ 200.000, hvilket i skrivende stund svarer til lidt over 1.300.000 danske kroner.

Listen over de deltagende hold er ikke offentliggjort endnu, men vi opdaterer denne artikel så snart listen er klar.

Turneringsformattet vil være som følger:

• Europe 1 & 2
  • 32 teams are divided evenly into 2 regions (EU 1 & 2)
    • Regions compete independently from one another and do not mix
  • Group Stage
    • 4 Groups; 4 Teams in each Group
    • Round Robin; Best-of-1 Matches
    • Top team from each Group advances
  • Playoffs
    • 8-Team Single Elimination Bracket
    • QF: Best-of-1 Match
    • Semis+: Best-of-3 Matches

• North America
  • Group Stage
    • 4 Groups; 4 Teams in each Group
    • Round Robin; Best-of-1 Matches
    • Top team from each Group advances
  • Playoffs
    • 4-Team Single Elimination Bracket
    • Best-of-3 Matches

• Brazil
  • Group Stage
    • 2 Groups; 4 Teams in each Group
    • Round Robin; Best-of-1 Matches
    • Top 2 teams from each Group advances
  • Playoffs
    • 4-Team Single Elimination Bracket
    • Best-of-3 Matches

• LATAM 1, LATAM 2, Korea, and Japan
  • Group Stage
    • 1 Groups; 4 Teams in Group
    • Round Robin; Best-of-1 Matches
    • Top 2 teams from each Group advances
  • Playoffs
    • 2-Team Single Elimination Bracket
    • Continuation Best-of-3 Match
      • The Round Robin winner between the 2 Playoffs teams will begin the series with a 1-0 advantage.
