Data Deletion and Match Results: When you delete your account, we remove your personal data while preserving match statistics for historical purposes. This process:

• Removes you from public features: You will no longer appear in leaderboards, friends lists, or squads
• Preserves your game name and tagline in match results: Your original game name and tagline are kept intact in match results so that site users can still see who they played with, even if other players in the match have deleted their accounts
• Removes all personally identifiable information: Email addresses, profile customizations, authentication data, and other PII are permanently deleted
• Deletes detailed gameplay data: Round-by-round statistics, location events, weapon statistics, and clutch situations are permanently deleted
• Preserves aggregate match statistics: Match scores, kills, deaths, assists, and other aggregate statistics are kept for historical and statistical purposes
• Maintains data integrity: Match records remain intact for other players' statistics and historical analysis

This approach complies with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure) while preserving valuable historical data for statistical analysis. Your game name and tagline remain visible in match results to allow site users to identify who they played with, but you will not appear in any public lists, leaderboards, or social features.

You have the following rights:

• Right to Access (Article 15): Request a copy of your personal data. You can view most of your data through your account settings.
• Right to Rectification (Article 16): Correct inaccurate or incomplete data. You can update your profile information at any time.
• Right to Erasure (Article 17): Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"). When you delete your account, we anonymize your data as described in Section 7.
• Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18): Limit how we use your data. You can withdraw consent at any time, which will stop match fetching for your account.

Account Restoration

If you delete your account and later decide to sign up again with the same Riot ID:

• Automatic Restoration: Your account will be automatically restored when you sign up again with the same Riot ID
• Historical Data Re-linked: All your historical match data will be automatically re-linked to your restored account
• Full Access Restored: You will regain access to all your match history, statistics, and profile features

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption, secure password hashing, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
